Arizona - Close Encounter With A UFO
In 2009 four young individuals encountered a massive UFO in the desert west of Phoenix, Arizona. According to the two individuals who approached the UFO, the humanoid occupants landed on earth to prevent humans from destroying planet earth. They also warned against "horrible events from the Middle East, bigger than 9/11."
California - Nuclear Jellyfish
This past April along a California coast, jellyfish-like creatures forced a nuclear reactor to shut down. The unusual looking creature called a salp, is a free floating tunicate and is barrel shaped. Salps are usually found farther out in the ocean. However, it was so close to the coast it also clogged the screens used to filter the plant's cooling seawater.
Florida - Haunted NASA Launch Pad
Florida's Cape Canaveral's Launch Pad 34 is rumored to be haunted with ghost of three astronauts who died during a tragic accident. On January 27, 1967 the Apollo I capsule went up in flames while being tested for launch. Many NASA employees state one can hear the astronauts dying screams. Due to strange occurrences the launch pad is no longer open to the public.
Arkansas - Earthquakes
In 2011 a community north of Little Rock experienced nearly 500 earthquakes in just a few short weeks, as many as 15 earthquakes in one day. Officials from the U.S. Geological Survey state the bizarre occurrences are happening less than a mile below the town. There is no explanation for the earthquakes.
The Possessed Woman
Richard Gallagher, clinical psychiatrist from New York Medical College, witnessed a case of demonic possession. The victim, an unnamed woman, not only went into trances and spoke in the voice of the demon, but also was able to move objects through telekinesis and levitate herself for up to 30 minutes at a time. His observation was published in the New Oxford Review.
Maryland - The Goatman
In 2000, several construction workers in Maryland came face-to-face with a 300-pound, 7-foot-tall creature. This creature has been rumored to attack cars with an ax. Additionally, it has been rumored the creature was once a scientist conducting an experiment on goats when something went wrong.
