Abraham Lincoln - Depression?
Lincoln is known to end slavery by issuing the Emancipation Proclamation. He is also known to have suffered from depression. Lincoln was often referred to by many of his friends as "the most depressed person ever." His parents also demonstrated signs of depression, which may suggest Lincoln was vulnerable to the mental condition.

Edvard Munch - Panic Attacks?
One of the most famous panic attacks recorded was by Munch. He wrote about his experience in his diary. He stated he "sensed a passing scream through nature." It is unsure whether or not he experienced numerous panic attacks, but it was known that mental illness was present in his family. Munch's sister suffered from bipolar disorder and lived in an asylum.

Kurt Gödel - Persecutory Delusions
Gödel was known to believe someone was out to poison him. He only ate from his wife, and went as far as making sure she ate first, just to be certain. When his wife was hospitalized he stopped eating and died from starvation.
