There is a fine line between love and obsession. For 38-year-old Blondie Bennett of California, that line is blurred and contoured. The Barbie-obsessed afflicted woman has dedicated her life to transforming herself into a real-life doll by getting copious plastic surgeries, and even hypnotherapy sessions to become brainless. The former model is now unemployed and makes a living from collecting money from online sugar daddies in exchange for sexy pictures of her dressed as the children’s doll.

“I want people to see me as a plastic sex doll and being brainless is a big part of that,” Bennett told the Daily Mail. “People can criticize me but this is who I am: I want my transformation to be head to toe, inside and out.” The real-life Barbie compares herself to other women who pretend to be human Barbie dolls, and says, unlike them, she takes it to the next level.

Bennett attends hypnotherapy sessions two to three times a week — with a total of 20 under her belt — which make her more susceptible to being easily confused and empty. Patients who enter a hypnotic state are in a deep state of relaxation during which the critical analytical mind shuts off, thereby making the unconscious mind more accessible, according to the National Society of Professional Hypnotherapists. Like in Bennett’s case, the hypnotherapist will not force the patient to do anything against their wishes or moral code. They retain full control through the entire session.

The real-life Barbie’s hypnotherapy sessions seem to be working as claims to feeling ditzy and confused all the time. The California resident cites an occasion where she got lost for three hours driving to her mother’s house — that she grew up in. The 38-year-old is actively trying to make herself dumb by transforming herself into a plastic toy with no brain capacity.

In addition to hypnotherapy, Bennett has had five breast augmentations — going from H cup implants almost two years ago to a 32JJ with 1700cc saline implants — coupled with Botox and lip fillers. This transformation began during her teen years when she would dress like Barbie, bleached her hair, and even drove a Corvette like the plastic doll. At the age of 18, she took on jobs at toy stores where she pretended to be Barbie.

Bennett’s family and friends do not support her lifestyle. Now the online real-life Barbie is a Twitter sensation with a NSFW Twitter account with the not-so-surprising handle “Busty_Doll.” She is indeed a Barbie girl living in a Barbie world.
