A man picking up his order from a Burger King in Dundee, Mich. was not too pleased with the surprise his four-year-old grandson got in his kids meal. The enraged grandfather notified police that a packed marijuana pipe was found inside the child's Burger King Kids Meal, Toledo News Now reported.

Upon further investigation, police arrested three men in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia who were spotted outside the restaurant. One of the men, a 23-year-old employee, admitted to bringing the pipe to work and hiding it during his shift.

"He hid it somewhere in the store. We're not quite sure how it ended up in there," explained Police Chief David Uhl.

"Somehow, somebody picked it up and stuck it in there when they were packaging up the food. It is definitely strange."

The two other men, not employed at the establishment, were pulled over not too far from the scene in possession of hashish and drug paraphernalia. All three men were detained and subsequently released pending drug possession charges, the Monroe News reported.

"This Burger King restaurant is owned and operated by a franchise who enforced a zero-tolerance drug policy," a Burger King representative told the Huffington Post.

"The franchise management team is cooperating fully with the Dundee police department. BKC and the franchise extend a sincere apology to the guests involved in this unfortunate incident."
