If you ever meet Chrissy Teigen, make sure you don’t ask for her opinion on Forever 21 because you might not like what you hear. After the clothing store once fired her from a gig for being too fat, the 28-year-old model holds no bar with letting the world know what she thinks about them, which is that “they suck.”

In her younger years, Teigen was hired by Forever 21 to do a photo shoot, the NY Daily News reported. While in her makeup chair getting done up, Teigen’s agent told her, “You need to leave right now. They just said you are fat, and you need to come get your measurements taken,” Teigen told DuJour magazine during a video interview. Teigen, who went on to become one of America’s most recognized fashion models, never forgot the incident. “I hate you, Forever 21. I hate you so much. Honestly you’re the worst,” the star told DuJour. Just in case we didn’t get the message, just last week a fan on Twitter asked Teigen once again what her stance on Forever 21 was, to which she replied “Yep they suck and I hate them.”

Many clothing brands feel that having super-skinny models who won’t fill out their clothes will allow for better presentation and let the potential buyer focus on the clothing itself. It’s no secret that this extreme need to be thin often comes at a heavy price: their health. Many models develop eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia due to this pressure. Being extremely underweight compromises an individual’s immune system and puts them at risk for getting more infections, taking longer to recover from illness. Over a long period of time, it may also cause irregular heart rhythms, increase one's risk of heart attack, and cause infertility.
