Sweating like a pig isn’t ladylike; it’s inspiring.

In a new video for their "This Girl Can" campaign, Sport England followed women of all ages, shapes, and sizes to capture them mid-workout — from boxing to Zumba. Women are throwing punches, conquering hills, just doing their thing, really — and they’re sweating. They’re pit-stains, red-in-the-face, deep-breaths-after-an-intense-rep sweaty.

The best part is they don’t have the slightest concern. So many of us are afraid to exercise for fear of how we’ll look, but as this video and campaign demonstrates and celebrates, women who want to be active can jump over that “judgment barrier."

“Exercise makes me forget everything, so any worries I have, when I come into Zumba, it’s like a whole new world for me,” one woman said in a second, behind-the-scenes video. “I come out of here, and I’m happy again.”

Other women who participated in the video said sweaty, all-out effortful exercise makes them feel young and sexy. Others feel practical and cute. For an older woman who likes to swim, a sweaty workout helps her to simply be herself.

“It’s just a lovely way of becoming you and not a wife, not a mother, not a friend — it’s just you and the water,” she said. “That’s it. And it’s absolutely brilliant.”

All of this set to Missy Elliot’s classic “Get Your Freak On” makes for the ultimate fitness inspiration.
