New gyms open nearly every day. Some cater to hardcore fitness lovers, who want to sweat until their body dries up. Others are for the more causal exercisers, who don’t want to hear grunting and slamming of weights. But what about those who grew up on superheroes, comic books, science fiction and fantasy novels, and video games? Where do they go to get fit?

A new gym in Los Angeles has opened specifically for the more nerdy people of the world. Nerdstrong features many workouts that are built around fantasy, sci-fi, and superhero tropes. With names like “The Angry Bird Workout Plan” and “The Dungeon and Dragons Guide to Fitness,” the workouts have funny titles but feature a “combination of bodyweight, cardio, gymnastics, and lifting exercises, compiled into fun and collaborative workouts.”

Small group classes or one-on-one training is available five days a week. A 5-class punchcard is $70, 10 classes are $130, or you can sign up for unlimited monthly visits for $125.
