A recent video uploaded to YouTube by the pro-life advocacy group Live Action has stirred the pot, to say the least, among conservatives across the country. The video, called “SEXED: Dangerous Sex Advice for Kids,” shows a conversation between a 15-year-old girl and a staffer at a Denver Planned Parenthood, in which she asks the staffer about bondage, chaining, gagging, choking, using nipple clamps, and other sexual practices that tend to be violent. The problem with the video, however, doesn’t come from her educating the minor about these practices, but rather, her encouraging the girl to go into sex shops and watch porn, which are both illegal to minors.

The Planned Parenthood staffer was totally baited in this video, but she did her best to emphasize that all of the aforementioned practices can be safe if they’re practiced safely and comfortably, and with a “safe word,” too. After all, it was the girl who asked about partaking in the sexual activities with her boyfriend, which she said he became interested in because of the popular erotic romance novel Fifty Shades of Grey.

Live Action and most other conservative new outlets, like the Daily Caller, have lambasted the reproductive health organization — or “abortion corporation,” as Live Action’s President Lila Rose calls it — for using taxpayer money to instruct young girls “not only to have sex, but also to choke each other in the process.” For the record, none of Planned Parenthood’s funding is allowed to go toward abortions by law. And while it’s questionable how ethical it is to tell young girls about these practices, the staffer probably just thought that if the girl was able to have a frank conversation, so could she.
