Being a stay-at-home mom can be one of the most stressful jobs on the planet. In 2012, a Gallup Poll revealed that full-time moms are more depressed than working moms. It might be the lack of sleep or isolation from office-working adults, but with no pay and constant work, it’s no surprise that this is one of the hardest positions someone can hold.

Mullen, an advertising agency in Boston posted a fake ad for a “Director of Operations” position on many online forums and newspapers, which reached 2.4 million impressions. The position included 135-hour workweeks, no holiday time off, no sick days, and no pay. Not surprisingly, though, only 24 people responded.

When the interviewer told the candidates what was expected of them, one person asked, "Is that even legal?"

“What if I told you there’s someone that actually currently holds this position right now?” the interviewer responded. “Billions of people actually — moms.”

The interviewer’s response brought tears to some of the interviewee’s eyes as they thanked their mothers for all of their hard work. The video of the “interview” was in fact a Mother's Day ad for Mullen's client, Cardstore. The video was posted to Cardstore's YouTube account this past Monday and has now reached over 8.4 million views.
