Drew Barrymore’s Workout For Weight Loss Revealed

We all know Drew Barrymore from movies like “50 First Dates” and “Charlie's Angels.” Now, the world sees her as CEO of the company Flower Beauty, a brand that offers luxury and cruelty-free makeup at such an affordable price.

However, beauty is not the only thing Barrymore can maintain. Her great physique is one of those things that she can boast despite being 44 years of age. She keeps it real and this goes for the fact that she was very honest about her struggles with maintaining her body after having kids.

For her, each and everyone has a different genetic makeup. It may be easy for others to remain fit. However, there are people who may have a difficult time with their weight loss journey. Barrymore has shared how she didn’t exactly win the genetic lottery for having excellent metabolism.

According to her, it’s always difficult to be in shape or have a lower weight or smaller size. When having children, everything goes out but it doesn’t mean that they come back in.

The 44-year-old actress also shared that despite all of this, she feels much more confident and happy when she is working out. However, there have been certain challenges ever since she gave birth to two of her daughters. Barrymore said that she kept getting injured. Thus, she spent most of her time at the therapists’ office.

Because of this, the actress started using Emsculpt, which is a noninvasive and FDA-cleared treatment that aids in building up muscles around an individual’s core while simply sitting and relaxing. Barrymore calls it her “abs secret.”

"In order to actually be strong and healthy and exercise, you have to have a strong core, and that was just not in my grasp for the last seven or eight years," Barrymore shared at one of Emsculpt’s press events.

This machine looks like a paddle that is attached to a fabric, which wraps around your core. It emits electromagnetic pulses that force muscular contractions. Research shows that an average 19 percent increase in muscle thickness has been observed from six to nine months post-treatment.

Barrymore said that this machine helped her get back in shape after giving birth. Furthermore, her confidence significantly increasd after having regular yoga sessions.
