How Often Should You Get A Manicure And Pedicure?

Over the past decade, women have developed this practice of painting one’s nails to make it more appealing. Of course, if possible, we would want to ensure that our nails are always manicured on a daily basis; however, there are certain factors that prevent us from achieving this.

For one, our bank account would probably have a few comments regarding having our nails done every few days. On another note, time is of the essence since sitting on a chair for at least two hours getting our nails done is too much for our busy schedule.

So, how often should one get a manicure or a pedicure?

The fact of the matter is that there aren’t any rules as to how often you should get your nails done, but we have a few recommendations for you.

1. Once a week

There is always a need to determine the kind of lifestyle you have. If you are currently living an active lifestyle, a weekly manicure and pedicure may be the right schedule for you to get your nails done. Those people who get their nails done on a weekly basis would often want to be up-to-date with the latest nail art, such as chrome nails and more.

2. Twice in a month

There are also individuals who would prefer to get their nails twice in one month. These are those who are particularly concerned with activities and certain household chores in their life that may affect their mani and pedi. A weekly visit to the salon may be too much because washing the dishes won’t do them any favor. On another note, a monthly visit wouldn’t be enough.

3. Once a month

You may consider getting a manicure and pedicure on a monthly basis if your nails are pretty low maintenance. This is the perfect schedule for you if you lead a life with activities and chores that are not too harsh on your hands. Of course, should there be an event coming up, you would be more than happy for a quick gel manicure.

So, how often should you give yourself a manicure? It’s up to you. Be sure to consider what your lifestyle may be and how it would affect your nails. You wouldn’t want to get them done only to ruin them because you are tasked to wash the dishes every other night.
