Ever start watching Home Alone 2 and think how the hell did Harry and Marv survive the original Home Alone? You’re not alone. In fact, there’s a fairly convincing fan theory that insists Kevin grew up to be Jigsaw from the "Saw" franchise. And to be fair, Kevin did seem like an engineering genius at the very young age of 8.

For those of you who were aspiring healthcare professionals as a kid and took exception to all the life-threatening injuries the Wet/Sticky Bandits walked away from, DistrctifyYT had a bunch of actual doctors and nurses sit down to diagnose all the injuries sustained in Home Alone. (Spoiler Alert: Harry and Marv would’ve died before making it into the house.)

Now not all of the injuries would’ve ended in death. Clearly, a nail to the foot, a blow torch to the head, and a BB gun to the groin are pretty gruesome injuries, but nothing that would land Harry and Marv in the morgue. However, the multiple traumatic brain injuries (TBI) they suffered throughout the film may have ended with them six feet under, or at the very least turned their brains into mashed potatoes.

No matter how you slice it, Home Alone should’ve ended with Harry and Marv getting a free trip to the ICU and Kevin with a trip to a youth psychiatric facility.
