Chris Ulmer has a unique way of starting class each morning that will bring a tear to even the most hardened person’s eye. Ulmer, a special education teacher based in Florida, teaches kids with a range of diagnoses, including autism, speech apraxia, and even traumatic brain injuries. Each day before starting their assignments, Ulmer’s students participate in 10 minutes of compliments. He has each student come up in front of the class while he continually tells them why they’re such a great person. Words don’t do it justice. Click the video above.
