In a daring attempt to challenge KFC abominations the Chizza and Double Down for strangest food product on the market, Taco Bell has revealed the Naked Crispy Chicken Taco. Can you guess what it is?

If you guessed a piece of fried chicken replacing your normal tortilla shell, good for you. While it's only been spotted in two locations in southern California, it's only a matter of time before it goes nationwide.

Since we don’t have the nutritional information for the Naked Chicken Taco yet, it’s unknown what this unholy alliance is going to do your body, but let’s do some math to find out.

Since Taco Bell has never done fried chicken before, let’s look at the king of fried chicken, KFC, for inspiration. A Colonel’s Original Sandwich has an Original Recipe Filet in it, so we’re going to use that as our Naked Chicken Taco shell substitute. The filet is 270 calories, with 14 grams of fat, 2 grams of saturated fat, and 21 grams of protein.

Adding those together, the Naked Chicken Taco from Taco Bell theoretically rolls in at 370 calories, 21 grams of fat, 5.5 grams of saturated fat, and 28 grams' worth of protein.

While not on the same level as the Double Down or the Chizza, the Naked Chicken Taco is a formidable threat to the throne of absurd fast food item of the month.

Correction: A previous version stated that the Naked Crispy Chicken Taco had a meat filling; it does not.
