Google Launches Elections Information Site
As Republican candidates for US president get set for the start of primary elections, Google launched an elections information web site on Monday that will cater to voters and citizens interested the digital elections landscape, featuring a hub where voters can watch, study, learn and participate.
"Just in time for the Iowa Caucuses, we’re launching google.com/elections, an election hub where citizens can study, watch, discuss, learn about, participate in and perhaps even make an impact on the digital campaign trail as it blazes forward to Tuesday, November 6, 2012."
Voters can now use the Google hub features to compare candidates, YouTube videos, search traffic and Google news mentions.
"The site enables voters, journalists and campaigns to quickly sort through elections info by popularity, race or issue."
