Rapper Rick Ross reportedly suffered a second seizure Friday as he was traveling on a private jet to Memphis.

Ross' private jet made an emergency landing around 5:30 p.m. in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday because he suffered a seizure, reports the site TMZ.com.

Ross was scheduled to perform Friday evening at a concert in the University of Memphis.

Earlier Friday, the rapper suffered another seizure on a Delta airplane, forcing the flight to make an emergency landing. The flight was traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis but had to return to its departure point.

Once the flight landed the rapper suffered an "unspecified medical problem" and paramedics performed what a spokesman called "advance life-support care," but not CPR, reports the Associated Press.

Ross is one of the most popular rappers in recent years. His most popular songs include "Aston Martin Music" and "B.M.F. (Blowing Money Fast.")
