Starting quarterback Tim Tebow, in his first game replacing Kyle Orton at the position, threw a pair of touchdown passes within the last three minutes of the fourth quarter and ran in a 2 point conversion with seconds left on the clock to tie the game.
In overtime, kicker Matt Prater kicked a 52-yard field goal to win it.
The Broncos’ record is now 2-4. The Dolphins are winless this season, with a 6-0 record.
"It's my fault that we were in that position in the first place," Tebow told reporters, according to Reuters. "I just have to play better in the first three quarters so we don't have to make that comeback in the fourth quarter."
“We need to get it going faster, that’s for sure,” Tebow said of the team’s slow start, according to the Denver Post. “But the [offensive line] stepped up. And we kept fighting until the end. That shows the heart and the courage of this team.”
