Five signs to recognize female heart attack
Most women are not aware that signs of female heart attack are very different from those that are apparent in men. According to medical reports women have more unrecognized heart attacks than men. They are often treated wrongly since symptoms are very similar to gastrointestinal illness. While most men get chest pain, women do not show chest aches but doctors still look for chest ache in women. Women might feel tightness in the chest but it is not only sign. Actually doctors say that in the weeks before an actual attack you may experience some of the symptoms as early warning signs. Here are some symptoms to look out for:
1. Discomfort in the lower chest, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, and back pain
2. Upper abdominal discomfort like indigestion, nausea and vomiting.
3. Pressure or squeezing pain in the chest that spreads to neck, shoulder and jaw.
4. Pressure, fullness or a squeezing pain in the center of the chest, which may spread to the neck, shoulder or jaw.
5. Dizziness and unexplained fatigue.
