Around 430 units of a hand sanitizer are being recalled in Canada following test results that confirm that the sanitizer units were contaminated with microbes.

Health Canada issued an advisory on Thursday saying that Kimberly-Clark Professional Corporation is voluntarily recalling Kleenex-brand Luxury Foam Hand Sanitizer due to microbial contamination.

The agency says that healthy people are at no particular risk from the products however people with weak immune system, especially those with cystic fibrosis are at high risk of catching an infection like pneumonia and blood infection from the sanitizer. As of now, no adverse reactions have been found but the agency is still investigating the root of the contamination.

The sanitizer recall affects approximately 430 containers in total, which were distributed to retail stores and wholesalers across Canada.

The agency has asked people to report any adverse reaction after using the product.
