Bionic Penis Reddit AMA: Man Answers Questions About His Injury, Prosthetics, And Love Life

While 2015 saw the first successful penis transplant, 2016 looks to be the year of the bionic penis. In a recent Reddit “Ask Me Anything” thread, user Titantool answered questions about an accident that left him needing a penis implant, while also commenting on how the implant works, how it affects his sex life, and much more.
"The ball/valve is in my scrotum," Titantool explained in an extremely NSFW Imgur gallery. "The two rods are in the penis and the reservoir is near my bladder. It holds saline until I squeeze the bulb about 10 times. This pumps up the two rods to make the penis erect. When I want to be flaccid again, I squeeze the valve just above the bulb to release the saline back into the reservoir."
Here are some other interesting questions he answered.
Shangus12 asked: If you don't mind me asking what is this near-fatal accident?

CarlSagansturtleneck asked: Can you poop on your own?

AFlyingMexican5 asked: How do you deal with bowel and bladder paralysis? Do you time yourself or have a bag?

HighOnGoofballs asked: Aside from working mechanically, can you feel it?

Ihepton asked: How many people in your life know about the pump, and how easy/hard is it to discuss with those people?

rob_var asked: How has the entire process been for you psychologically?
