Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one bad dude. On the set of Central Intelligence, a movie that the actor is now filming, he said he broke his finger in an “accident” and showed it to his Instagram followers. The only problem is that a rep from New Line Cinema clarified that it was all fake.

Apparently, the actor had on a prosthetic hand that looked broken. In fact, the ring finger is bent away from his body. What throws you off as you see the video is that for all the muscles that the “The Rock” has, nobody can break their finger and just laugh it off as easily as he did, can they? This leads you to wonder whether it is real at all.

“I just stepped off set,” Johnson said in the video. “My director, Rawsom Thurber, just ran up to me. We had a little accident. He said, ‘Are you bleeding?’ I said, ‘Bleed? I ain’t got time to bleed.’ Let’s pop this son-of-a-bitch back in.”

The Internet exploded after this video went up, eventually getting over half a million likes and 107,080 comments on Instagram. It’s only when you examine the video closely that you realize that the life-like prosthetic is on his hand, mostly because his fingernails don’t look real.

Central Intelligence is an action-comedy being filmed with Kevin Hart and is about a CIA contract killer who reconnects with his old high school sports friend-turned-accountant, played by Hart. Somehow, Johnson ropes Hart into selling classified military secrets, which will probably involve some highly dangerous stunt scenes. And some (fake) broken fingers, evidently.
