After Republican Mitt Romney proposed a $10,000 bet on Saturday nights debate to candidate Rick Perry he’s gotten a lot of buzz about it and some think he wishes he’d take it back.

“I bet you $10,000 Romney would like to take back that line right about now,” says a Tweeter.

While other Tweeters are betting $10,000 that Romney wont win the nomination.

But while Tweeters are knocking Romeny, more Facebook-ers are slowly “Liking” him.

On Saturday after Perry accused Romney for deleting parts of his book saying he supported mandates for individuals to buy health insurance, Romney asked to make a $10,000 bet, in which Perry refused.

“Rick, I’ll tell you what… $10,000 bet? Romney said as he put his hand out to shake Perry’s hand.

But Perry said, “I’m not in the bettin’ business, but I’ll show you the book.”

As reported in CBS News the Democratic National Committee tweeted saying, “FACT: $10,000 is almost three times what the average family spends on groceries in a year."

While the bet forced charges against Romney saying that he was out of step with the economic challenges, Romney has dismissed his offer according to the AP calling his offer to make a $10,000 bet with Perry "an outrageous number to answer an outrageous charge."

Romney said he made the bet because Perry incorrectly claimed that he deleted parts of his book, in which Perry said referred to his support for a health care mandate.
