She just might be the best mom in the world. Twenty-two-year-old Massachusetts resident Mindy Tran used her body as a speed bump after she saw her car rolling into the street with her twin daughters in the back seat.

"My daughters are my everything, my everything, and I don't want to see them in the hospital, and I knew at that time it was either mine or there's," she said to WCVB News.

It happened on March 6. Tran was backing her Honda out of her parking spot with her 2-year-old twins buckled up in the backseat, when she got out to lock the door. All of a sudden, the car started to roll backward.

"I was like, 'What is going on?' And I see my daughter sitting there in the backseat and of course my first instinct is, 'I have to push the car back into the driveway,'" she said.

Her motherly instincts kicked in, and Tran jumped in from of the car and laid down. Neighbors ran to help her by jumping in the car and stopping it to get the girls to safety. Firefighters had to use an airbag to lift the car off of her. Tran was brought to the hospital, where doctors found her left knee had been crushed and her right leg dislocated from her hip.

She seems happy with her decision, and she’s positive that she will walk again. “"It was all for my kids. I'm just glad my kids are fine," Tran said.

This super mom isn’t the first person to have their parental instincts kick in during times of need. In March 2012, Indiana mom, Stephanie Decker lost her legs protecting her son and daughter from a deadly tornado that ripped through their town.

Another amazing mom, Rhonda Carlsen from New Mexico, jumped into a moving bus after she saw that the bus driver was suffering from a seizure.
