A Barbie doll designed by lifestyle brand Tokidoki features a pale pink bob, stacked bracelets, leopard leggings, and, controversially for some, numerous tattoos on the shoulders and up to her neck.

A few parents have expressed complaints about the tattoos, saying that the doll may set a bad example for young children.

“If I give it to [my daughters] she will think [tattoos are] okay. She may want to go get some,” one parent told ABC News.

Mattel - the doll's maker - says that the $50 Barbie has been marked “For adult collectors only.”

It’s has been available for sale since October 6 and wasn’t featured on the main Barbie section of the Mattel website, nor sold at children’s retail toy sellers such as Toys R Us and Target.
