While almost every one of us has problems, worries and moments of stress everyday, there are times when this can become too much for a person. And since this stems from these mental worries getting the better of you, this can lead to an anxiety disorder, and worse still, panic attacks.

The truth is that anxiety and panic attacks can affect one physically and more importantly, psychologically as well. But there’s hope as all it takes is for one to do is deal with these attacks before it leads the patient down a path that ends with a mental breakdown.

So, here are some tips that might help one to deal with both anxiety and panic attacks:

Tip #1: Seek inspiration from prayer while also exploring ways by which you can calm the mind through meditation.

Tip #2: Exercise, exercise and more exercise – the body releases feel-good hormones known as endorphins that makes you feel great when you work out. This can seriously turn things around for you. Just do as much as possible to pamper yourself!

Tip #3: Staying busy with work as well as other things can keep your mind off fear and negative thoughts. So fill your time and you day with plenty of things to do, and you can circumvent the negative impact of anxiety and panic attacks.

Tip #4: Music can be an excellent cure for anxiety, and since Biblical times, has been known to soothe a troubled heart and mind.

Tip #5: Laughter can be something that can take your mind off an anxiety and panic attack. Read jokes from funny books, watch funny sitcoms and stand up shows and you will be well on your way to relieving yourself from anxiety and panic attacks.

Tip #6: And most importantly, finding a friend or family member with whom you can share your deepest fears and anxieties can be a real boon. When you speak out, you will definitely feel a lot lighter than when you keep it “all” inside.
