A video camera captured a heroic rescue in Logan, Utah, where bystanders helped lift a car in flames to pull an injured motorcyclist trapped underneath.

About a dozen people, some dressed in suits, some apparently construction workers, watched terrified as flames engulfed the front of the car. (See the video below)

They lifted the car together as another man pulled out the body of the motorcyclist who looked unconscious.

"I do remember one gentleman saying, 'We need everybody to come and help lift,' and that's when everybody ran over," police officer Jason Olsen recalled, according to CNN.

The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital where he was in stable condition after surgery Monday evening, according to CNN.
