Radio DJs Get Breast Implants To Experience Life As A Woman For A Day

“I want boobs for Christmas.” You might have heard at least one of your dude friends say this jokingly — or half-jokingly — at some point. Just to see what it feels like to have their own breasts, carry them around, and touch them, I guess.
Well, two guys went and followed through on that for all the dudes who’ve wondered what it was like. And apparently, it wasn’t too enjoyable for them. German radio DJs John and Rasheed of Berlin’s JAM FM decided to undergo a procedure to enhance their already-existent man boobs, receiving an injection with 700ml of saline solution to give them C-cup breasts for about 24 hours. Their goal was to feel what it was like to be a woman for a day — and give them something to talk about.
The saline would cause temporary swelling for about a day, allowing the two adventurers to truly understand what it’s like to have those extra lumps of flesh on their chests. After receiving their injection, they went shopping for bras, asking the salesperson to touch their boobs to prove they were really there. Afterward, they went to the gym for a workout, where they discovered that running with boobs is difficult. Their lesson?
“Bras are torture and every woman should get a medal for wearing this monster,” they wrote on JAM FM’s Facebook page. And when asked how he felt after allowing people to grope his breasts all day, John said, “I feel small.”
Of course, breasts are only one aspect of the female existence. To truly experience what it’s like to be a woman, these two gentlemen would have to see what it’s like to have their period, get cat-called, and breastfeed (in public!), among numerous other things. And do it for much longer than a day. Until then, the closest thing men can do to understand women, or at least be more sensitive to their problems, is to go out and purchase a Mr. Milker breastfeeding vest to nurse their infant children. Yes, this exists.
John and Rasheed's experiment was weird, but probably not as weird as the guy who won a $100,000 bet to get breast implants for a year. Brian Zembic, a gambler and musician living in Las Vegas, got a boob job in 1996 after his friend bet him $100,000 — and, some 18 years later, he still has them. Why?
“It’s a normal part of my life,” Zembic told the Daily Mail. “It really is, as sick as it is, it’s normal.”
If anything, he’s now more sensitive to the trials and tribulations of breasts that his wife — and all other women — must live through on a daily basis.
