Frequently washing your hands using soap and water for 20 seconds is one of the best ways to slow and halt the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. However, all this constant handwashing can lead to dry, cracked hands, and that is a bad thing especially if you love to take care of your skin.

"Washing your hands removes (your) skin’s natural oils and breaks down its moisture barrier,"  dermatologist Amy Wechsler told The Cut. "If you give those oils right back in the form of a moisturizer, you can prevent the breakdown from happening."

Having both virus-causing germs on your hands and dry skin is a big double whammy. The good news is that you can prevent both from ruining your day by using the following hand moisturizers (right after you wash your hands):

1. O'Keeffe's Working Hands Hand Cream
