American singer-songwriter and performer Jason Derulo fractured his neck while rehearsing for his upcoming tour, in which he was forced to cancel due to his serious neck injuries.

The 22-year-old performer was rehearsing for his upcoming tour when he was tumbling and doing acrobatics.

“I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour!” Derulo Tweeted to his fans with the featured photo of him in a neck brace

“Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU!” he wrote.

As reported on CNN, Derulo landed on his head, fractured one of his vertebra and was taken to a hospital in Pembroke Pines, Florida, where doctors treating him said the incident could have left him paralyzed.

While ticket holders will be refunded at the point of sale still feels very bad about canceling the tour.

"The pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I've sustained. My fans mean everything to me, so I'm praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future," said Derulo in a release.
